Being a Philips lover for more than 15 years, I never thought I would be using any other brand's product. But when my tv backlight broke, I had to look for alternatives, and that's when I discovered the Dekala LightHouse™. Easy Installation

It was easy and took me just 20 minutes to install the tv backlight. I was using a thin, expensive LG OLED TV, so I had to be careful while gluing over 12 feet of LED lights. Later, I found that its immersion light strips are atop a layer of strong 3M adhesive and a single stand of RGBIC LEDs. And I stage my installation with a masking tape, then removed 3M tape and attached these LEDs closer to the center of the tv.
The result was fantastic! The tv backlight created a halo effect that made my tv look like it was floating in mid-air. It's been two weeks since I installed the tv backlight, and I'm still thrilled with it. It's definitely worth every penny. However, if you want to bring it to the advanced level, you can use it with Dekala app to create custom lighting scenes.

They currently sell two sets, a two-pack and a four-pack. I have a 55" TV, so I think the two-pack will be fine. I wanted to attach it to the back of the TV and the kit includes sticky cable clips to make installation easy. You don't need any other tools.

Is Dekala lacking some features?

I am not shy to reveal that the Dekala LightHouse™ immersion tv backlight lacks some features; it doesn't competible with its other backlight kits (Dekala TV Backlight Strip Kits) like the Philips Ambilight.
But I didn't buy it for that feature, I bought it to add some extra flair to my tv, and it does that perfectly. Moreover, the Dekala tv backlight can also be used as a bias light to reduce eye fatigue when working in dark environments.
If we talk about its brightness, let me tell you that the Dekala tv backlight is significantly brighter than the Philips Hue Playbar. It has 32 individual RGBIC LEDs per meter, controlled by HDMI 2.O sync box called Aura™ that synchronizes the lights with any colors on display. The result is a more immersive and realistic lighting experience that makes your tv look like it's floating in mid-air.
However, your TV must have an input source, which means you can't use your TV's built-in smart app, otherwise it won't work properly.

Combined With Bluetooth and WIFI

Bluetooth and WIFI combined with the Dekala app make this tv backlight more adorable. Because it gives you the freedom to place the tv backlight anywhere in the room, even if it's not close to the tv with an LED strip.
Moreover, this LED supports Alexa and Google support. It turns off/ on the lights without manual assistance if you plug it into a smart plug. And works till its last mode.
And I would like to suggest to you that please don't forget to calibrate the tv backlight's colors before use because it is essential.

Ways To Manage Dakela LightHouse

RGBIC LED tv backlight's kit contains 2 tv backlight bars (13.8"), 1x tv backlight sync box, 1x power adapter, 1x user manual.
I prefer to set video mode first because all parts respond locally to what is happening on display next to it.
And I also use movie mode because it is good for creating a uniform backlight upon average color based on what the sync box holds on display.
Game mode changes the colors more shortly than the movie results, giving smooth but slow color evolutions.
Well! after 2 weeks, I set its brightness to 75 on movie and gaming modes. Along with it, the saturation was settled at 15%.
This setup boosted my films and video gaming ambitions with balanced immersion. To be honest, the Dekala tv backlight is very cheap compared to other available tv backlights. More so, it makes soccer unique. Because adaptive backlights make evening scenes substantial in the absence of sunlight absorption.
The movie setting was suitable for the tv backlight, but it was not the best. So, I would like to say that you should use the Dekala tv backlight in Game mode or All mode for the best experience.
Moreover, if you find the tv backlight's brightness too much, then you can also dim it to make the backlight less prominent without any issue.
However, if you are a tv show lover, I recommend all/ movie mode because it chooses uniform backlight colors more often.
If I share my experience, I am happy with the accuracy of color mapping. Though, sometimes I get confused with a variety of color modes. However, I don't miss immersive dynamic backlight while watching tv.
Typically, Dekala immersion needs Dekala ambient lights like Prismatic, Arches to boost the Ambilight experience. Also, it will make your work more accessible if you link both tv backlights with the Dekala app.
